I wrote an article for my stores facebook page which has been plagerised by our competitors on their facebook page with no credit given to me. I know facebook is notorious for copyright and privacy issues and I probably can't do anything about it but just in case I thought I would ask. As it is one business stealing content from another, do I have any legal rights considering they are passing it off as if they wrote it? Just in case it makes a difference regarding laws, this is in Scotland.

Next time when writing the article make sure you put your name in it at the beginning and.stuff... there is nothing you can do but prove to people that it's your work..

With your other accounts (you do have other Facebook accounts don't you) point out that the company is so useless it has to copy other people, and then also bombard them with postings by dozens of other third party accounts, or have your Facebook critique of them given praise by your followers.
