Go to his/her profile
click on options, under his cover
hit *Unfriend...*

Go to their profile, on their options, click "unfriend".

1-Go to his/her profile
2-you will see a (Friends) sign
3-click on it or just put the mouse on it
4-you will see a list
5-click on Unfriend
6-here you go he is no longer your friend on Facebook

Deleting a friend is called unfriend according to facebook. The word unfriend is chosen as the word of the year of 2009 by oxford dictionary. . Ok, go to his profile click unfriend under options. Hope you get it.
