What are some good rules for a cosplay group/club? - Anything Goes - 11-09-2012 12:36 PM

I recently started up a cosplay group, and I'm not sure if I'm missing any good or essential rules. Here is what I have so far:

1) Always have the main components of your costume at least 1 month before the scheduled event. This includes wigs, costumes, props and shoes.
2) If you wish to drop out of a cosplay, inform the group at least 3 months before the event. However, ideally, inform us 5+ months in advance.
3) Report your progress on:
a. acquiring the cosplay and
b. making any adjustments to the costum as frequently as possible. Keeping the group updated is key to the success of the final cosplay.
4) If you are running into any troubles with your cosplay, turn to one of the members (or ideally the group founder) IMMEDIATELY. We are all here to help and support each other, and cannot afford to have a member's costume flunk.
5) Refer to your fellow members by their alias names when in public (for privacy reasons).
6) Members should attend as many of the set meeting dates as possible, and must have good reason to not be able to attend. Letters from parents will be the only thing keeping you out of trouble*.

Is there anything else I can add?
