there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update

this guide will help you learn how to use it

it will take you a few days to get used to the changes, but overall, it's much better than the old profile

you can trick your browser into making it so you see your old profile, but everyone else will still be seeing your timeline profile, along with anything you dont want them seeing, and you wont be able to see anyone else's timeline profile then either

Lot of Facebook users don’t like the Facebook Timeline and looking for ways to change the Facebook interface into the old one. there are lots of reasons why people didn’t like the features of Facebook Timeline.

So for you who wanted to deactivate the Facebook Timeline interface can use an add-ons “Timeline Remover” this add-ons works on some browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. : http://blogspc.com/how-to-disable-facebook-timeline/4014

Its not possible to completely remove Timeline, but you can easily go back to viewing the old style profile pages without timeline, you just need to follow this simple guide:

This method is safe and it really works, you can tell this because it has over 25,000 "likes" on the page, and hundreds of positive comments from people who have got it to work.

FB Purity has also been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PCWorld

As I answered in another question, this website is completely virus free, and you can turn your timeline on/off whenever you want. It's available for Chrome, IE and Firefox, and the website is currently working on making it available for Safari.

Hope this helps! (:
