How do you delete Facebook Timeline? - Hannah Danielson - 11-09-2012 12:40 PM

Here is the key point... I was never asked to open it as an app, so the Facebook Developer's trick won't work.

everyone is asking this

You can't delete Timeline.Period

Beginning January 1st EVERYONE will be forced to use Timeline. This is a permanent update proposed by Facebook administration.

I was wondering the same thing but Facebook has made it perminate and the timeline has replaced your profile.

Sadly you can't. It's not a trick or an app either. It's how your "page" will look now. Facebook said its going live on the 29th of December. It was just your choice to have it early or not. It's not really even that bad, you just gotta get used to it.

there is no way to get rid of it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook

here's how to set it up

There's no way to remove it. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.

There's no way of going back unfortunately. The timeline is polarising ... some people love it, some people hate it.
