How to remove ads on my facebook and twitter? - Jenny vee Villaver - 11-09-2012 12:45 PM

i was trying to download a movie. but instead of downloading the movie directly, it first downloaded something, or others such as toolbars, etc. so, i cancelled the download. after that, ads on my facebook and twitter appeared. those flash ads. those you can see at the side of many websites. How can i remove it? thanks a lot. Smile

Adblock can be used in most all of the big 3 browsers.

it sounds like you have inadvertently installed some malware that is injecting ads into your pages,
you need to run an antimalware program to get rid of it, a good one is malwarebytes anti malware, http://www.malwarebytes.org

BTW For removing facebooks normal ads, a good solution is FB Purity, it gets rid of all Facebook ads and also sponsored stories, and also lets you filter out the other rubbish you dont want to see in your facebook newsfeed: http://www.fbpurity.com
