it used to be that you would create a group under a specific section ('sports', 'just for fun', etc) and they you would invite people to join...now theres this thing where you create a group and just decide who is in it...they are automatically a part of the group
is there still a way to create the old kind of group?

Yes there is a way. I dnot know it but my Friend does will ask him.
