No it's definitely not. I know a lot of people who make facebook profiles for their pets. There's some chickens that hang out at a cross section in my town that are notorious. They have their own facebook profile! Lol so you should be fine!

You can do it. But don't be that person who sends their friends friend requests from their cat. It is very lame.

Great question! I have had profiles for three different cats, and it's fine. I also friended some pet manufacturers, and if you do the same you can get lots of coupons and occasionally free stuff too!
You are by no means the only one to do this and there's nothing wrong with it at all, I think it's a great way to meet other cat lovers!
