Reason why I'm asking this is because I was thinking about converting my original Facebook profile to the new Timeline .. only if Facebook staff had planned into making Timeline mandatory for every user .. if not then not even risk it and just leave my profile the way it is ..

There is no Time Frame they started at the end of march and there still in the process of switching considering how large a update this is and how many users they have its going to take a while i predict it could take several months
