I was wondering if it is possible to see who views your Facebook profile just out of simple curiosity i wanted to know.

Its not possible. Most links that say you can see who views your profile are just spam.

Well, that's a million dollar question. What I relaly think is the friends that shows on your sidebar or if you have timeline, the friends that shows on the top are the ones that are really close to you. From what I have studied so far, they are either the ones who you write on each other's walls a lot, comment a lot .... orrrrrr they have viewed your page within the last 2,3 weeks... hope this helps.

Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles or contents. Third party applications are also are unable to track anybody.
