Hide everything on facebook? - Diana - 11-09-2012 12:55 PM

I've tried to figure out how to do this for a very long time.. How can I make it so, that only my friends can see my profile picture and beyond? So, people who aren't my friend cant see anything about me..? Thanks!

well, that's not exactly possible... once your friends comment or like something you do, it's shared with their friends too, no matter what you have your settings set to

You cannot prevent people from seeing your profile picture or cover photo.. they are both completely public. However, you can prevent people from seeing comments, likes and your past photos.

All of your privacy settings are here: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=privacy
If you click on "Limit the audience for past posts" everything you've ever shared with public or friends of friends will be set to Friends only.

If people can access your profile, they will be able to see your profile picture (but won't be able to click on it) , your name and cover picture. However, you can make it so people can't even access that/search for you. That's under privacy settings with who can see your profile. Then they won't even know you're on facebook.
