My cusine Just turned 11 last Tuesday and now she wants Twitter .So she asked her Mum if she could have Twitter but her Mum said no because she doesnt like her daughter putting up her picture for everyone to see. Please help. Thanx

There is no right or wrong answer and one has to respect the parenting role of her mum. At 11 any virtual socialising site is dangerous as it is often preyed upon by paedos. Her mum is perfectly right in refusing to allow it as it will also have to be closely monitored. If she needs to talk to her friends, use her mobile or invite them around.
