How do you change privacy settings on facebook? - Sunshine. (: - 11-09-2012 01:05 PM

I want to make it, so that nobody can search me unless they are already my friend. How do you do that?

Big blue "Account" button on top right, the "Privacy Settings".

On Facebook, go to the blue "account" button on the top right of the page, click the upside down arrow to show a list of links, select "privacy settings which show your current settings. Look for Connecting on Facebook and click the View Settings link that appears below it. On the next page that comes up, change the first option, Search for You on Facebook to only friends.

It's rather hard, cause Facebook is indexed by search engines and you can be found even without logging in to Facebook on special Facebook Search site listed below.
Good luck)
