I want to create a facebook page for people who like to skateboard in my local area but i dont know how to create a page or wether having group for it is better. what would you do, create a group or page? how do you create either of them?

If it's a community of people, make an open group. Go to facebook.com/bookmarks/groups and click "Create Group" in the top right. Choose the name and add any amount of members, then choose "Open" under Privacy.
