The following websites will allow you to find people to follow who share a similar interest as you. You don't just want to follow just anyone because if you do, they might decide not to follow you back.
The first site (TweepML) allows you to select a category of people in a list or you can do a search on whatever you tweet about to find people of similar interest. http://tweepml.org/follow/
The second one allows you to set up a list of keywords based on your interest and then you can follow people who have your keywords in their tweets: http://ow.ly/1jDVt
