someone told me if you join a group the creator of it can see all your information, regardless of your privacy settings. is this true?

no, thats not true. i know because i have made many groups before.

they cant see your profile or information if you made your profile so only your friends could see it. to change the privacy settings so only your friends can see it do this..........Account-Privacy Settings-Profile Information-then choose what you want people to see!!! Hope that Helped ;D
