my facebook has advertisements all in my news feed, and just about every page i go to..
one friend says they don't have them on theirs but several of my other friends do..
so what's going on with the ads? and is there any way to remove them (advertisements) for good?
why do only some people have the ads and can they be removed or blocked?

Try Google Chrome or Firefox with the ad block extension (add-on). Most of the ads should be blocked.
