How can I set limits for these Facebook friends of mine? - Overthemoononasunnyday - 11-09-2012 01:16 PM

Ok, there are some people that I consider good friends only on Facebook (they are former University classmates) but nothing more than that. Now it seems they are asking me personal questions that I am not comfortable sharing with them.

The thing is that I want to keep them as friends but at the same time not share my personal stuff with them?

How can I avoid telling them personal information without compromising the 'good friendship' we have?

You can create a "limited profile" where you select exactly what they can and cannot see. You can build your limited profile in the "privacy" options. Once you create your limited profile, you can add the contacts which you want to view it. Make sure your profile is overall protected (make sure only your friends can view your profile). If not, these people could sign on with another account and see all the information (which would defeat the purpose in the limited profile).

Hope all that helps Smile

Jess R sounds like she knows what she is talking about. I would go with her suggestions.
