Can I advertise Girl Scout Cookies on Facebook ads? - ♥The Half-Full Glass♥ - 11-09-2012 01:17 PM

I wanted to get a little more exposure on sales this year, and If my friends at Facebook only saw the ads, would it be okay to place them there? I know they have an application on their site that can allow me to make one, but I know Girl Scout policy is so strict. Any information would helpful!

There was a national change this year, which allows you to mention on Facebook and other social media sites *if you're 13 or older* (or your parents if they're any age ;-)) that you're selling Girl Scout Cookies. You can't buy an ad, but you can use those websites to "advertise" those already following you. You also can't accept money via the Internet - no Paypal, etc. But you can let your friends know that way that you're selling cookies, and they can contact you to complete the order.
