I'm trying to make some money from facebook application. I'm thinking of incorporating ads. How and where should I start? And I wonder if there are other ways to monetize the application.

While many will say Google Adsense you will have better luck with RockYou Ads. Google Adsense is not targeted for the Facebook user while RockYou shows banner ads that would interest the Facebook user such as other applications. This creates a higher click rate.
