I'd like to gain a few more followers, do u know any efficient way of gaining followers, with no need of following the double of people u have ?

Ok when I first joined twitter a few weeks ago, someone posted me Philip Schofield's guide to using twitter..I found it a good start

It is certainly worth a read
It is good to find the private message box and make lists of say, friends, areas of interest etc you will soon see
# means a search
The reason that I haven't tweeted this is because a tweet is 140 characters, that includes spaces. I find that difficult haha
To reply directly to some one there is a reply on the right hand side of the tweet
I will let you browse Phil Schofield and go tweet you!

If you want more followers just follow who is going to follow you back, just do this:
1 - Follow @TeamAutoFollow - To get you in the list (see next)
2 - Follow the team - (see the list at http://teamautofollow.com/ – follow as many as you would like, we all follow back)
For extra followers:
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your post (as often as possible)
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your Bio (You can do this at the end of it, people are more prompt to follow when they know that you will follow back)
- RT and follow @TeamAutoFollow Tweets (a little help once in awhile is appreciated)
- Comeback everyday for a #ShoutOut
