i want to create a special layer where users can place their ads just like facebook, they enter the URL, add little details and upload a pic and then they complete and their ads automatically displayed in that special layer. also i want to include a service that users will send sms to a certain number and their msgs are directly shown on my website, can someone please guide me on this.

Yes you can do all the above activities in your website... for that a simple website is not enough, it requires a dynamic website.
