These ads are agarvating. everytime i log on all i see are these annoying ads cloggin up my news feed. like really who started this, and why are they doing this?

The majority of users who choose to post on
social networking sites such as Facebook are female.
(The only reason most males sign-up is because
they're chasing after all of the females there.)
The majority of females these days seem to base much of their
happiness and self-worth on how many pairs of shoes they own.
Since social networking sites like Facebook derive their income from advertising,
it makes sense that the majority of the ads are aimed at their largest demographic.
