Didn't watch the debates. What's with the binders full of women comments on Facebook? - Carl Winslow - 11-09-2012 01:28 PM

Seriously, i keep reading it. What the hell are my friends talking about?

He was actually meaning "binders full of women's names". The liberal left media is taking it, grasping at straws and trying to make a big deal over nothing, as they usually do. This is all they could find I guess. What's wrong with having a list of women's names that he wanted to see to appoint to top positions? Stupid, silly, and immature on the media and Obama's part as he mentioned it today.

During the presidential debate last night a woman asked what the candidates will do to ensure equal pay for women. Romney responded by stating that his political cabinet had all men and he wanted more women in his cabinet. He later got in contact with certain groups that provided him with binders full of women who were qualified to serve in his cabinet.

Romney evaded the question of equal pay for women by saying he considerred hiring binders full of women through affirmative action. The fact is he opposed the Lily Ledbetter Act (equal pay for women) which president Obama signed into law.

Liberals have no point. There was no point to signing a law to reaffirm other anti-discrimination laws, they serve no purpose. That Lily Ledbetter act was worthless and Romney knows it.

Honestly its just people being stupid. Romney was saying he made an effort to hire women on his board and that he had binders full of women's names who were quality candidates. I really don't understand what everyone is so upset about, he's making an effort to change the status quo.
