FROM MOBILE/iPHONE
I used to be able to just go to menu, friends, FOND FRIENDS - FROM CONTACTS and it would show me friends that I hadn't added yet.
(I have a 4S with iOS 5) but I upgraded to iOS 6 and ever since then every time I try to do that it says "NO CONTACTS FOUND ON YOUR DEVICE"....
Anyone know why?
I BELIEVE I got a notification when I first tried to do that after the upgrade but I didn't pay attention and just sort of ignored it but I think it was asking if Facebook was allowed to get to my contacts. Anyway of allowing It now???
I do NOT want to sync my Facebook through my iPhones settings, which came installed with the upgrade.

************I ANSWERED MY OWN QUESTION******
THE NEW IOS6 UPGRADE CAME WITH PRIVACY SETTINGS FOR EACH APP.
HOWEVER, LIKE MANY OF YOU SAID, IT IS NOT THE FACEBOOK APP ITSELF THAT YOU NEED TO ACCESS OR FIX.
IT IS YOUR "CONTACTS" PRIVACY
GO TO SETTINGS - PRIVACY - AND THEN ALLOW FACEBOOK TO USE YOUR CONTACTS
I WENT TO SEE IF IT WOULD WORK AND IT DID!!!
HOPE THIS HELPS ANY OTHER PPL IN THE FUTURE

CORRECTION: SETTINGS-PRIVACY-CONTACTS-TURN ON FACEBOOK (ALLOW IT TO ACCESS YOUR CONTACTS)

Just in your facebook application go to friends then click the top right corner icon.
Select sync contact option from there you will be notified and prompted to proceed further do as directed.
And your contacts will be synced with facebook.

Go to your Facebook App And than Look for the Sync Button inside the App
if that Doesint work than its Probably Some Kind of Error With the New Iphone
