Delete your whole profile? You can't, you can only deactivate it.
Delete timeline from your profile? You can't, thats their new set up now.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

You cannot get rid of the timeline. But if you don't like it, try changing it to a cool one like I did with http://fbtimelinez.com

There is no way to remove Timeline, however If you dont like the double column layout of timeline you can revert to viewing all timeline pages in a single column layout format, if you install the highly rated and well respected FB Purity web browser extension:
