I want to hide my facebook timeline from searches.. I googled and I cannot find how to.... Can any one help me to fix this ??

It ended up being easier for me to just show you. Just log in to Facebook, type in the url, and click "Edit Settings" next to "How You Connect", and view the red options: http://i.imgur.com/4Oykc.png
Set them to 'Friends'. it's the highest level of protection you can get on Facebook.

This is UP-TO-DATE Tutorial:
Privacy Settings->Ads, Apps and Websites->Public search->Uncheck “Enable public search†option.
