I am new to Twitter and need new followers. Here's my Twitter https://twitter.com/#!/hookmage. Any ideas?

What do you tweet about? Follow people who tweet about similar things, and they might follow you.
I tweet about pedestrian and transportation issues, and I follow people who tweet about the same things.

There are several different ways to get more followers on Twitter. I would recommend starting out by following several people, specifically famous celebrities with very popular Twitter accounts. Participating on Twitter daily by following and Tweeting are the most fundamental ways to begin adding to your Twitter followers. You could also re-tweet other tweets that you find interesting. This is another great way to get people's attention. There are also many great services that are offered on the web that can help someone gain many Twitter followers. or you could use a twitter exchange site
