Facebook Questions on Apps and Deacitvations? - Nunya - 11-09-2012 01:37 PM

If you did things in one app. that was unknowingly checked to be public, can you make the results of what you did be private?

Also, if you deactivate your account, will those results be private?

Will any of your invites, or anything like that still appear if you close your account?

The app was a compare friends thing

first question. Yes, go to the settings of that application and make sure that it is set to private, that would make all the things you did in that application private for now on and I think that it may take the things it had already posted off. if it doesn't then you can just delete it yourself.

second question: if you deactivate your account there should be no account to post those results too, unless they keep a file for you just in case you decide to reactivate and re add the application. So really it depends on the application itself.

third question: I think if you close your account all further interactions you may have sent like invites etc. will disappear.
