If one of my friends posted something on facebook timeline and I hide it instead of delete, I heard that my other friends won't be able to see it. But if she goes on my timeline can she still see it or would she know I hid it? I don't wanna delete the post cus' she'll take it personally but I don't want others to see it

you can hide it and nobody else can see it unless you are on your account.

You could make it for custom viewing settings.
