How to respond to a Vietnamese post on Facebook? - Uke - 11-09-2012 01:43 PM

Ok so there is this girl who is from Vietnam, who sent me a friend request, and I accepted it,but she posted something on my wall, that I can't understand at all it says " hj,b", I'm pretty sure its not a Vietnamese word, and can't be translated how do I say in Vietnamese "I'm sorry, but I don't understand, what your saying I'm not that good in Vietnamese"

She wrote: "Hi, bạn"; it means "hi, friend." I think she just wanted to say hello to you.
You don't need to reply her in Vietnamese because most Vietnamese people can understand basic English.
But if you still want the translation, here it is: "Tôi rất tiếc, nhưng tôi không hiểu bạn nói gì. Tôi không thông thạo tiếng Việt."

It's "hi, ban" as in "hi friend" lol Vietnamese text lingo. =P

You can just respond in English like "Hello! How are you?" or something..
