I'm part of a group on Facebook that I wish my friends not to know about is there a way for me to hide my activity or posts with te group? I am not an admin for the group

if it's a secret group, your friends wont see your activity in the group
but if it's an open group, the only way to prevent them from seeing your activity in the group is to add them to your restricted list

That group need to be set as private and not public so only members can make use of it, share and view that group.
