It's usually blue, and the person is still on Facebook.
Does it mean they have blocked you ?

it is facebooks new "blacks" policy - they have decided to bring back racial segregation, i wouldn't worry too much.

it means that they have their profile on basically invisible. If you go to Facebook | Privacy then click "Search" and change your search visibility to "only friends" then everyone else sees your name as "black".
