I don't think so. Once we were at a hotel for my sister's wedding and the hotel had free wi-fi. I had my ipod touch with me so I was like "hell yeah" but I wasn't on Facebook... Anyway my mom didn't say anything about it and she is crazy about that stuff so she definetly would have called me out on it. Sorry, I'm not 100% sure, but will they really be that mad if you're on Facebook?
