I want to block someone from facebook chat. From what i understand you would do that by adding them to a "list" and then block that list from facebook. I only want to block this person from facebook chat. Help?

go to your list page
https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/lists
and then select which list (or create a new one) and name it something like "no chat"
then click add/remove and find the person to add to that list, then close that window
then open your chat window, click the gear icon at the top of it, and select "limit availability", and select that "no chat" list

According To the Facebook..
You can add individual friends to lists by hovering over the Friends button at the top of their profile (timeline) and selecting from the list names that appear. If you don't see the name of the list you're looking for, click the option to show all of your lists.
