Sometimes when i exit Internet Explorer, after i have been on facebook, multiple screens start to pop up. They are all internet explorer screens that have the facebook login on them.
After they group into a tab i right click and close the group, but more keep on coming!
Every time i resort to restarting my computer and the problem is solved.
I already did a virus scan and my computer came up clean.
What could be causing this and is it serious?

I am a computer geek and I have no idea. It doesn't seem like a virus. Well on the pop up screens is the URL facebook.com if it is not do not enter your password. I would contact facebook ASAP.

Internet Explorer can not be fixed. Switch to a better alternative that gets much less viruses.

Sounds like you have some kind of virus, download, update and scan your computer with Malwarebytes and SuperantiSpyware, delete what ever they find, if this fails to completely remove the virus download then update Avast and run a boot scan (click schedule boot-time scan and restart your PC), all the software below is completely free and safe to use.

To protect your PC in the future you need to use anti-virus software and a firewall, id recommend using Avast and Comodo Pro firewall both are very effective and completely free, you should also switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE as its much safer. (links on my profile)

Run a full scan with Micro Trend House Call

After the scans, restart the PC and download SuperAntiSpyware and run a full scan

Then update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC
