What happens if I deactivate facebook then re-activate it? - Paige - 11-09-2012 04:33 PM

If I deactivate my facebook and then say in a week or so i re-activate it, will it still have all the notifications and invites from when i left or will everything start new? and will all the wall posts and status' on my wall of gone? and my inboxs? oh and how do i re-activate it?

Nothing. Deactivating it makes it so it cannot be viewed or searched for. Logging back in after deactivation reactivates it and allows the account to be used normally.

When you deactivate it, it basically stops everything - as if you have deleted it. When you re-activate it, it'll be like you've gone back to the same position as you de-activated it at. No-one can comment on posts etc, and your account will basically just disappear until it's re-activated.

Everything will be pretty much as you left it (although, obviously, everyone else will have moved on and updated their stuff).

To reactivate all you have to do is sign in.
