How can I find my birth parents? - James - 11-09-2012 04:34 PM

well my birth mother..I only know her last name and what hospital I was born.. are there any sites that would be able to help me out that doesn't require my ss#, or is there any other way to do this? the police station or something? haha. I'm only 19 if that has anything to do with this.
thanks

I don't know of any special services thatspecialize in this myself, and you're right. You have to be avoid giving you ssn out online.
Since you know what your birth mom's name is or once was anyway, try using whitepages.com You can type in the name and a state if you want. It will give you a listing and aproximate age of ppl w/ that name along w/ their phone # and possibly an address.
You could also search social networks like myspace, facebook or tagged.

Good luck

Go to your local social services department, ask there. Your mother could have left contact details with them just in case you decided to search for her. You're 19, the legal age to start a search for your birth mother in the Uk is 18.

Good Luck.
