Can Facebook or Twitter ruin your career for life? - Wait a Minute - 11-09-2012 04:35 PM
We all know that all serious employers hire firms to do background checks of your on-line profile before hiring you to get an idea of what kind of person you are. If you post any comments, opinions or even photos of "fun times", could that deter an employer to hire you? Your record on-line is never erased. What do you think?

it depends on how you manage to it. Sometimes we need can't hide ourselves from the truth or shall I say we want private thus sometimes we opt not to give our whole of us especially in this sites or web cause we also need to protect our lives.

Keep your profile private, utilize all the privacy settings, don't use your full name in other types of places or forums and google yourself to see what comes up.
