my mother has requested me as a friend on Facebook for months. I need to add her, but i dont want her to see my status'.. how can i add her as a friend and block her from writing on my wall, seeing pics, status, etc. but still be my friend on FB??

when typing in a new facebook status there s a padlock that you click to customize who can see your status.

When you update your status you should see a little padlock? click on it and go to customize and chose to hide it from your mum..
you can also customize your security settings and block your mum from seeing certain things
edit your albums and change the privacy settings and make it so your mum cant see them
