How should I reply to this message? - epitome of innocence - 11-09-2012 04:40 PM

Last night my boyfriend told me that he was feeling suicidal. So I called his mother and told her what was going on, and I think I handled the situation well.

This morning I got a message from his mother on facebook:
You are a wonderful person and it is my pleasure to have you in my life. Thank you so much for everything you do for me and my son.

Love,
_______

How should I reply?

No reply necessary. Nice job.

whatever your heart feels. we shouldnt be telling you something like this

Something showing that you care about both your boyfriend and his mother. Maybe you should ask if he's safe and okay now if you aren't 100% sure.
Anything comforting, she must be quite distraught.

Your welcome?

Your answer should be something like:

It was my pleasure; I would never want him to get hurt or anything.

Hope my answer helps! Smile

No one can really tell you how to reply, you are your own person, and obviously she loves you for who you are, and what you've done for them. But briefly state its your pleasure to have their company, and you want to be there for both of them, however and whenever you can. I personally think you handled the situation well also, you've saved someones life, no wonder his mother has written to you.

"Thank you so much, I truly love your son ____ and I only wanted him to be safe..."

or

"Please, I only did what was right. I truly care for _____ and I never want to see him hurt.
you have raised a good/nice..... son...
I am happy to have Him/you both in my life"

Something alone that line.. I am guesing...
XD

good luck!!!

Reply privately through the message feature. This is not something to be posting on public spaces. Just tell her "thank you for your kind message, love, your name"
