From home page, hover over Account in the top right corner, select Account settings. Go to notifications, then uncheck all the boxes and you will not receive any emails from facebook. =)

On the top right corner of your FB, click account and then account settings then once you're there click notifications and uncheck everything. Haha! I don't like the new FB actually
