I've added many friends and relatives on facebook but for some reason this person's page doesn't show a box to add as friend. Next to the name it has a tiny picture that has a blank face. I thought maybe I sent a request already but it doesn't say "waiting confirmation". Anyone know why the add as friend box isn't showing? Thanks in advance.

try refreshing the page, or come back to it another time

Account ----> Privacy settings ----> Basic Directory Information ----> View settings ---> Send me friend requests ---> Friends of friends
So,Probably you don't have mutual friends that is why according to that person's privacy settings.
