Can I press charges on someone for slandering me on Facebook? - Danielle Tadrous - 11-09-2012 04:54 PM

Long story short my fiances ex-wife is slandering us on Facebook. Making ridiculous comments such as child-bride, and yes there is and age difference which she does express very clearly and fully starts are names. She says I am his mistress when she divorced him and had a new boyfriends MONTHS before we got together. Anyways I want to know if I can press charges or sue her?

If you have 100% proof I am pretty sure you can. Make sure this is no lie though, orerwise the charges could be pressed against you. Good luck tho.

Life threatening wise YES but if its no big deal just BLOCK HER THEREFORE YOU'LL RECEIVE NOTHING FROM HER AND SHE WILL NEVER SEE NOTHING IF YOURS

I don't see any criminal activity. If you were going to pursue action it would appear it would have to be civilly which means sueing her. If you go that route start printing everything they post.
