Just joined facebook and every time a friend does something in a facebook game, I get notified. Is there a way I can get rid of the game stuff without getting rid of other notifications?

Put your cursor over the notification and an "x" button will appear on the right. Click it and you will see 3 options. Click "hide application" and there you go! Hope this helped!
