I have information on where he worked and lived back in the 80's, the name of my half brothers mother, Friends he used to know, but I'm clueless where to start. I can't really afford to pay a bunch of sites to give me disconnected phone numbers. His name is too common to just search the yellow pages. Is there a non profit organization that will find family members for you? What can I do? Any information or advice would be great. Thanks.

Search on how to find birth father. Have you tried facebook? Just googling his name? Also put this question over in the adoption section for more advice.
