i'm a sophmore in highschool and my mother thinks i can't be trusted with a facebook but she has one is there a way i can convince her to let me have one anyway?

Tell her that you can keep yours completely private and will only add your friends.
And you could also allow her to sign into yours, that would probably help you out. But I wouldn't do it.

You're more than legit to have a facebook. heh. Maybe it's because she doesn't feel it's safe for you. Maybe some pictures she might find bad. A good way for her to feel that you're acting responsible is if you were a friend with her...on facebook that is.

You should list the reasons why you are responsible enough to have one. If you don't know why she doesn't trust you, maybe that is why she doesn't trust you.

Sorry , What are You Saying ? not letting you to have a facebook ? Why ? I never so something Wrong in facebook . My Parents never cared about what i do on the internet .
umm anyway ,Just Tell Her That All Your Friends Have accounts & you want to keep up with your friends & also to get to know some beautiful girls .
