I am trying to change Facebook back to the original layout, does anyone know how?

It's not possible. They have newer layouts to make things easier for the users. Many people complain at first, but then they get used to it.

Sadly its impossible... I hate the new layout, we get used to a new one and then they pointlessly update it again! The new one isn't easier at all, they removed the functions to see just status updates and just photos etc!
