I have my boyfriend's best friend on Facebook, and every now and again we sometimes talk. We never talk about anything too serious, and it's very occasional. Usually both of us tell my boyfriend everything that was discussed too. Nothing secretive. I thought he didn't care, but today he showed he had a bit of a problem with it.
What should I do? It's not my friend so I'm happy to stop talking to him. Would you be annoyed in the same situation?

its a bad trait but yea i kinda but i consider myself different from most guys

If he says he has a bit of a problem with it, it could mean more than that. E.g. guys joking that you're cheating on him with his best friend. He probably doesn't have a problem with the talking itself.

sort of silly that his girlfriend isn't allowed to talk to his friends
seems rather controlling/jealous
maybe he wasn't comfortable with something you and his best friend were discussing

It depends on how much I trust my best friends. If they are trustworthy I wouldn't mind. But guys know their friends better since they are best friends so if your BF thinks there can be a bit of a problem then I guess you should respect that. I wouldn't be annoyed actually it shows he cares about you and protective which is great.

Nope, I would want them to get along and in the long run that would work out for me. Trust is one of if not the most important thing in a relationship.
