Should I be bothered that my boyfriend does not want to be friends on facebook? - Claudia - 11-09-2012 05:15 PM

He insists that being friends on facebook will create conflict in the relationship. I think he is just trying to hide some things.

I agree. if it's gonna cause conflict maybe you two should delete them!

I know that facebook doesn't matter and shouldn't make a difference, but if I were you I'd feel like he were trying to hide some things too. Like, why does he refuse? And what's on there that you will be upset about, that he knows you will be upset about? SHADY!

I think there's nothing to hide. Seriously. There's no point in dating somebody who you have feelings for but you won't even add them as a friend.

Ok. You don't know where the conflict will arise from. Firstly, he may want the absence of your friendship on facebook for reasons such as his parents finding out that he is in a relationship. This will ultimately cause problems in the relationship.

What I recommend is speaking to him in person and identifying the reasons in which the friendship will cause trouble. If there is another girlfriend involved, dump him. It's not worth the trouble.

I hope it all works out Smile
